Those watching us...

Most of the times when we, the group of walkers, reach on the trail these little guys, they have not still stopped their laughing comments about those funny sweating looking guys running and yelling at each other each time they find these paper spots… Yet their eyes are questioning on what is going on but most of them do not hesitate to welcome us with smiles and giggles. 

Any time at almost every run, children will be in many ways giving us the chance to learn more about India, even their plays are evidencing how a huge segment of this populated nation grows. 

I like to watch them play; bats, kites, wooden toys but mostly with whatever is left and their imagination has taken this left over articles to a new life… bike´s tires, bottles, plastic caps, rubber bands, etc, etc… I like to believe they are through this practice not only surviving from their difficulties, but overcoming through imagination and creativity the so difficult destiny that seems to face them.  Such a naïve thought it is just the result of the overwhelming fact that it is too little what is being done (and lesser what I am doing) to help them have an alternative for living.
